Have we reached peak oil? And what will its impact be. The world's supply of oil may have reached its peak. From now on oil supplies may dwindle and our fuel-based economy cannot continue to function in the same way as before. Not only will we need to seek new ways of heating and fuelling transport, almost every aspect of our lives will be changed forever. The economy will need a fundamental re-thinking.
